Sifu, the brutal martial arts game, debuted today, Sunday, February 6, 2022, in Early Access. It should be a joyous moment for PlayStation gamers; however, there is a serious problem and that is that many players who bought it have not been able to download it.

Through Twitter, several users have complained that there is a bug in the PlayStation Network that prevents early access players from downloading Sifu on PlayStation 5. This problem reached the ears of Sloclap, the game’s developer studio, who confirmed that they were working on a solution.

“We are aware that there are problems that prevent the download of Sifu in early access on the PlayStation Store and we apologize for the inconvenience, ”explained the developer studio. “We are investigating it together with PlayStation and we will give you an update on it very soon.”

Shortly after the study made another publication, ensuring that Sony is already working on a solution: “Sony teams are already investigating the problem with us. We hope it will be resolved soon.”

As you can imagine, this is a detail that has been a bitter pill for many players. After all, there are those who paid extra for early access to Sifu and with this they are losing playing time that will be impossible to replace. This is why Scloclap promised that they will compensate affected players, but did not explain how.
