Yes, another Netflix live action is on the way and inspired by an anime. Is about One Piece, a project that has been in plans since 2017 but that will finally enter its most important stage, leaving fans waiting for the final product to be good and at least worthy of the pirate story created by Eiichiro Oda, starring Money D .Luffy.

Through a publication on its official Twitter account, Netflix shared images of the start of production of the live action of One Piece, alluding to the award from the story indicating that Luffy’s path to becoming the pirate king has begun. In the publication you can see images of the Mexican Iñaki Godoy, who will play Monkey D. Luffy; Emily Rudd who will do the same with Nami; Jacob Romero Gibson who will play Usopp and Taz Skylar who will play Sanji. In the same way, the chairs of those in charge of production, Steven Maeda and Matt Owens, are shown.

So far, no more details are known about what will be the live action of One Piece by Netflix nor the narrative arc that it will address. However, although there is excitement on the one hand, there is also skepticism about what has happened with other live action that are completely forgettable, such as the one from Cowboy Bebop that was canceled after one season or that of Death Note that did not enchant the fans at all.
