The Lunar New Year Chinese is celebrated this Tuesday, February 1 and Bungie has wanted to join the party giving away an exclusive Year of the Tiger emblem for Destiny 2 to the readers of Vandal. To participate it is only necessary to follow on Twitter the official spanish account Destiny, as our profile in the same social network, and do retweet to the message that we insert below:
We’re giving away 500 exclusive Destiny 2 emblems to celebrate the Year of the Tiger, days before the release of The Witch Queen, Bungie’s long-awaited new expansion to the game. To participate:
We remind you that the next February 22, 2022 the Guardians are called to recover the Light in Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, the next expansion that will continue the Darkness trilogy that began with Destiny 2: Beyond the Light. Estar disponible en PC (Steam), PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One y Google Stadia.
Enlargement will lead us to put an end to Savathn’s plans that have been macerated throughout the Season of the Lost. In the campaign we will visit the world throne, we will face knights of the Hive with the power of light, we will use the new glaive weapon archetype and we will participate in the activity for 6 players Eternal Conflict, as well as in a new raid.
The Tiger at Bungie
That Bungie celebrates the Year of the Tiger does not catch us off guard, as the Bellevue company has been doing references to the feline for more than a decade. The reason? When Destiny was still in the kitchen the title had another name: Project Tiger, just as our colleague Juan Rubio told you in his column What could have been.
In fact, in the 30th anniversary celebration of the study taking place in Destiny 2 there’s a helmet ornament with a tiger which refers to it. Before the release of the first Destiny Bungie joke with the Tiger Man, a class that will join the Sorcerers, Titans and Hunters… and that obviously was never real.
