Pedro Arriola, advisor to the Aznar government and husband of Celia Villalobos, dies

Peter Arriola, husband of politics and former minister Celia Villalobos, has died at the age of 74.

The famous sociologist was the expert advisor on polls in the governments of the Popular Party of Jose Maria Aznar (I hired him in 1989 with a personal advisor) and Mariano Rajoy.

Pedro Arriola Ros (Seville, 1948) was for several decades a key figure in the electoral strategy of the Popular Party and stopped working for the PP with the arrival of Pablo Casado to the presidency of the Popular Party.

For some political analysts, Pedro Arriola, who was nephew of the poet Juan Ramón Jiménez, was ‘responsible’ for José María Aznar and Mariano to reach the presidency of the government.
