Halo Infinite Credits will be earnable through the Battle Pass when Season 2 begins

When infinite halo Season 2 begins, credits will be obtainable through the battle pass.

343 Industries announced the change overnight, and this means that you will no longer have to pay real money for credits once the change is made. Instead, they will be earned through progression. The studio said it will have more to share on this as it gets closer to season 2.

No date has been provided for season 2, but it is expected to be released sometime this spring.

This news comes on the heels of 343 reducing the price of items available in the store. Using data and feedback from the community, this week the team began rolling out changes to the way it packages and prices items.

The focus is on lowering prices across the board, providing “stronger value” when it comes to bundles, and putting individual items out of bundles. This week the studio focused on lowering the prices of weekly packs, with individual items appearing on their own next week.

Also recently, a new hotfix was released and it was supposed to fix the issues with Big Team Battle mode. Unfortunately, the end result was not what the studio expected, as despite minor improvements, general matchmaking issues still persist.

In the meantime, until the issues with BTB matchmaking are resolved, 343 plans to remove challenges that require BTB for the time being. He doesn’t want to alter the challenge decks when they’re active, as it would remove people’s progression in those challenges, but these changes will kick in next Tuesday when the weekly challenges usually carry over.
