New Call of Duty: Warzone bug gives the shooter the look of an N64 game

When it comes to Call of Duty: Warzone and bugs, there seems to be an endless connection, and unfortunately, today is no different. Ultimate Offender is a visual glitch that takes the shooter back to the days of the N64. At least, that’s according to Reddit user Lowiizy, who posted the flaw on the r/CODWarzone subreddit.

In the clip above, you’ll see a landscape devoid of textures, lighting effects, and pretty much anything else that looks like a video game made in 2022. That’s not the only hurdle Lowiizy faces, though. As you can see in the clip, his weapon is invisible, just like in a similar glitch that hit the Gulag previously. However, against all odds, he still manages to get a few kills before he finally meets his demise.

Now, while every game-breaking bug is frustrating to say the least, the issues plaguing Warzone are much bigger than a single glitch. The biggest problem is that new bugs occur in every patch, and most of them are not fixed. Whether this is due to poor resource management by publisher Activision, employee strikes by developer Raven Software, or simply the release of the new Caldera map before it was ready, the problems are mounting and it seems that no there is an end in sight.
