This multiplayer experience features loads of vehicles, weapons, classes, and a map with destructible elements that up to 240 players can compete on, so it’s no surprise that fans of Battlefield They chose to give it a try.

So much so that, last Wednesday, January 19, BattleBit Remastered retained for a few minutes more players than Battlefield 2042 on Steam. This was announced by the prestigious insider and journalist Tom Henderson through his Twitter account.

Specifically, the indie game peaked at 4,253 concurrent players on Valve’s platform, while Battlefield 2042 only had 3,801 concurrent users at the time.

As of this writing, the situation is slightly better for the shooter from Electronic Arts and DICE. We say this because 7136 players are playing right now, while BattleBit Remastered It has 3606 concurrent users.
