Pokemon Legends: Arceus Game Leaks Show Shiny Pokemon Make A Different Sound When Spawning

Pokémon Legends: Arceus leaks continue to unfold ahead of the game’s official release on Nintendo Switch on January 28. Multiple leaks have surfaced on Twitter, with a notable one sharing in-game footage of how shiny Pokémon appear in the overworld. When a shiny Pokémon appears in the leaked images, it makes a distinctive sound to indicate that it is near the player.

In the footage shown, we see the trainer wandering the plains and later encountering a shiny Shinx. Not only do we see the shiny Pokémon in the overworld, but it also makes a distinctive sound, ensuring that players don’t miss them.

This information follows after other leaks shared that shiny Pokémon would appear in the overworld, similar to Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee. Previously, players had to find random Pokemon in the wild initially and hope it was shiny.

Shiny Pokemon will also come with their signature glow along with various sounds. Players who enjoy searching for shiny Pokemon will likely find the process much easier in Pokemon Legends: Arceus if this leaked video is to be believed.

We have no further information on how shiny encounters work in Pokémon Legends. Also, we cannot verify this information.

We are still reviewing many of the leaked games provided by various people who got their hands on the game early. Physical copies hit the wild well before the January 28 release date. We imagine the leaks will continue until the game is officially released worldwide.
