Morocco opened the group stage with a 1-0 victory over Ghana, and went on to beat Comoros 2-0. The team has conceded goals so far from Sofiane Boufal of Ligue 1 side Angers, Selim Amallah of Belgian side Standard Liege and Zakaria Aboukhlal of Eredivisie side AZ Alkmaar.
