Halo InfiniteIt’s been out for a month now and many are enjoying it thanks to its exciting campaign and multiplayer. Unfortunately there is something that players have been forced to miss and that is the possibility of playing the campaign with friends with a cooperative mode.

343 Industries is already working on this option and the community is patiently waiting for the modality to be ready. That said, that didn’t stop one restaurant from seeing an opportunity for publicity by taking a stab at Xbox Game Studios over the lack of a co-op mode for Halo Infinite

What happened? On January 12, National Roast Day was celebrated, it is a tradition of the Wendy’s restaurant chain. This is not a day where roasted things are celebrated, but one in which the company’s Twitter account makes fun of all those people who ask to be humiliated.

One of the people who signed up to receive a mood swing from Wendy’s was the official Xbox account. Given this, at Wendy’s they saw a very clear opportunity to make fun of it in an elegant way and without insults, using only the phrase: “Do you want to play the campaign of the new Halo in cooperative?

It is a brutal tweet that turned out to be a real success, gathering more than 900 retweets and nearly 12,000 likes. Even in responses, Xbox acknowledged that the taunt was like “getting hit on the head with a lemon wedge wrapped around a big brick of gold.” Bottom line: the teasing hurt.

Now, it is important to make it clear that they are teasing in a playful tone. At 343 Industries they are working hard so that the campaign of Halo Infinite can be enjoyed cooperatively, so it’s only a matter of time before we can play with friends and even enjoy Forge mode.
