What is it My Hero Academia: Ultra Rumble?
My Hero Academia: Ultra Rumble is a free-to-play Battle Royale that will allow up to 24 players to engage in exciting battles with the most iconic characters in the saga. It is a cooperative experience, since the confrontations will take place between 8 teams of 3 members.
As you can imagine, it will not be a conventional Battle Royale, because as main weapons you will have the characteristic Quirks of each character. On the maps you can find elements such as cards to further improve your skills and thus finish off your rivals more effectively.
It will be played in large combat zones, where ordinary citizens will witness the clashes. If you play as the hero, it will be possible to rescue them, while the villains will be able to attack them. This dynamic will bring various benefits depending on the side.
Bandai Namco announced a Closed Beta of My Hero Academia: Ultra Rumble for Japan. The test for PlayStation 4 will take place from February 2 to 6. Participants will be able to play with 12 characters: Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, Ochaco Uraraka, Shoto Todoroki, Tsuyu Asui, Cementoss, All Might, Mt. Lady, Tomura Shigaraki, Dabi, Himiko Toga and Mr. Compress.
At the time of this writing, the title does not yet have a confirmed release date nor are there any details about a possible test in the West. Below I leave you their first videos so that you can better understand their mechanics and see the combats with superpowers:
