Thanks to Titanfall 2 Y Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Respawn Entertainment has become one of the most beloved studios by gamers. For this reason, many are excited to know what is next for this company that, in addition to working on multiple projects, continues to support Apex Legends.

It is a fact that Respawn Entertainment is working on various projects. We already said that it supports Apex Legends and it is an open secret that it is preparing a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. That said, a third project is now being reported: a new 1-player adventure.

How do we know this? The thing is, it was recently announced that Mohammad Alavi, Respawn’s creative director, would be leaving the studio. This after 11 years in the company and with the sole purpose of looking for the next step in his career.

Don’t expect a new Titanfall

Faced with this situation, Jeff Grubb, one of the most trusted journalists in the industry, published an article to confirm that Alavi’s departure does not mean the cancellation of the project he was developing. He also took the opportunity to share more details such as that it will be a first-person game, with shooter mechanics and that it is being designed with a philosophy where mobility and style are the priority.

The fact that Respawn is working on a first person shooter will make many think that it could be a new Titanfall. Unfortunately things are different and this project is something different.

At the moment, Respawn is expected to spend another year preparing ideas and concepts for its new project that has AAA ambitions. Once you finish this you will start working on creating the final product.
