Minecraft adds one more free map for your New Years celebration

Mojang has been ringing in 2022 with free maps for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition on PC, and the last of the batch has just been revealed. If you feel like celebrating Halloween in January, then this is for you.

Why the Halloween comment? Good, the ad explains that you will face zombies, bloodhounds and “a gigantic and terrifying stuffed animal with nails in the arm” in the new map, titled Grave Danger. That horde of monsters is attacking your castle, so you will need to set up traps and other defenses to protect your base of operations. You can see how that looks in the trailer below.

Minecraft creative collective Shapescape put together Grave Danger, with the goal of adding a twist to the typical tower defense game. “There is some tension as you wait for waves of enemies to collide with your defenses,” says Shapescape. “But if you made a mistake, you can’t fix it. Grave Danger uses traps instead of turrets. We also gave the player agency during the generation phase where they can fight zombies directly. ” You can discharge grave danger free on the Minecraft store right now.

Before showing this gift, Mojang revealed the map of the Axolotl Islands. That one assigns you the task of saving the salamanders from an invading group of slimes. Still currently still free to download for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.
