Players who enjoyed Pokémon Diamond & Pearl On Nintendo DS they surely remember a striking Easter egg related to Masuda, a creative from the saga whose birthday is today. The secret was placed in the games precisely so that everyone could celebrate this special date.

The surprise is that the secret was kept intact in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, so Switch users can see it, but only today, since it only activates on January 12 of each year.

To witness it, just visit Snowpoint City and its snowy areas. You will instantly notice something different on your screen, as you will see unique sparkles described as diamond dust. The community remembered this Easter egg to celebrate another year of Masuda’s life.

The creative was happy with this gesture from the players, so he thanked everyone for the congratulations, drawings and photographs he received on social networks. Masuda also shared some videos where this cool detail looked like in games.
