STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl is a cult game among PC game fans, a title that went on sale in 2007 and that mixed elements of shooter, role-playing or survival conquered many players who, for many years, had to wait for a sequel that seemed to never arrive until in 2020 we could see for the first time S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 at the Xbox Games Showcase showing up as a PC and XSX / S exclusive title.
A year later, at E3 2021, GSC Game World announced the long-awaited release date of the title that is planned for the next 28th of April And to allow players to dive back into Chernbyl … or at least that’s what we thought until we ran into a possible anomaly.
This “anomaly” has been discovered by OLDboi, a youtuber Ukrainian who has previously provided us with advance information on STALKER and now points out that GSC Game World has decided to delay STALKER 2 until next fallThat is, we will not be able to enjoy this highly anticipated sequel until, at least, the month of August.
180 GB of space in XSX / S and goodbye to the NFT
Of course, we’ve had a lot of information on STALKER 2 over the last few weeks, from the large amount of storage that we will need to run it in XSX / S (180 GB) up to a controversy related to NFTs which has ended up with GSC Game World backing down and canceling their extra game monetization plans.
