There are less than eight weeks until the launch of Elden Ring on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, and PC. The computer version, which publisher Bandai Namco will distribute February 25, 2022 via Steam, has become in the last few days in the game most desired by players who use Valve’s platform, thus unseating Dying Light 2.
The open world action RPG developed by FromSoftware, directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki (Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice) and with a world devised in collaboration with George RR Martin (A song of ice and fire) became this Saturday January 8 in the title that most players have added to their wishlist of Steam.
From the Valve store search engine you can access a list of the most desired games, which until then showed Dying Light 2, another open world action RPG from Techland, in first place. These two titles are followed by brawler Party Animals, the still no release date Hollow Knight: Silksong and the PC version of God of War, which comes out next week, January 14.
Valve does not offer exact data, just the ranking, but since GameRant have looked at the statistics of the unofficial database SteamDB, which although it is not totally exact, serves to get an idea. Over the past few days, more than 10,000 users have added to your wish list Elden Ring, while some 3,000 have done the same with Dying Light 2.
As, el FromSoftware game is on the wish list of around 273,000 players, and the Techland title in that of 251,000 Steam users. Dying Light 2 has been the most anticipated game on Steam all of the past year, a role that was dominated by Cyberpunk 2077 until they premiere on December 10, 2020.
