After 2 deliveries of The Evil Within, Tango Gameworks, studio led by Shinji Mikami, the father of Resident Evil, showed that he is ready for new projects and there is little left for us to know Ghostwire: Tokyo. So far, the release window for this title is spring this year, but there is no release date yet. However, it seems that we are close to knowing more details about it.
Ghostwire: Tokyo is closer than ever
The release date of Ghostwire: Tokyo could be revealed soon as this new Tango Gameworks title has already been registered and classified by the Korean Game Rating Committee, the body in charge of reviewing the content of all entertainment products. Although the registry does not provide more details than those already known from Ghostwire: Tokyo, its public appearance provides certainty regarding the launch because with the problems derived from the pandemic, delays have become a possibility for any title.

That said and with the qualification process underway, the same is expected to happen in other markets in the coming weeks, opening up the possibility for Bethesda and Tango Gameworks to reveal the release date of Ghostwire: Tokyo, the last title of the company that will come out on PlayStation 5 because its exclusivity on console precedes the purchase by Microsoft.
What we know so far about Ghostwire: Tokyo is that it will not be a proposal solely of terror, but that it will appeal to other mechanics to expand the game experience. It will also take advantage of the technology of PlayStation 5 and DualSense to provide a more immersive session that captures the player’s senses.
