At the beginning of December the new season of Call of Duty: Warzone, which introduced, among many other things, new cosmetic items that players can unlock through the Battle Pass. Unfortunately, one of the previously unreleased skins quickly caught the eye of the storm for providing a competitive advantage.

As we told you, the Awoken skin of the operator Francis caused that the players were almost invisible at certain distances, this consequence of a bug. Since this aspect can only be unlocked by purchasing the Battle Pass, many players claimed that the Battle Royale turned into an annoying pay-to-win.

The first reports that echoed this situation emerged in December, but the problem was still a headache for many players in early January. Fortunately, and after the end of the vacation period for Raven Software workers, that and other errors are a thing of the past.

Call of Duty: Warzone removes the bug that made players invisible

In the last update for the Battle Royale, Raven Software fixed some of the problems that plagued the experience for a few weeks. Luckily, the bug in Operator Francis Awoken skin was one of the issues that was fixed.

Additionally, the latest patch also fixed certain collision issues and a bug that caused loot boxes to drop at the same coordinates. According to the developer, the reason these bugs lasted so long is because the studio was on vacation.

“Happy 2022! We are excited to get back to work. This is the first of many updates that we will work on over the next few weeks, ”the company said on Twitter.
