Several players in the Halo Infinite community have shared bad experiences in Big Team Battle, the largest game mode in the game’s online multiplayer that pits two teams of 12 players against each other. While solo players haven’t experienced this issue, it mostly occurs with anyone in a group. Here’s what we know about when Big Team Battle will be fixed in Halo Infinite and what you can do in the meantime.
We can say that there is no exact date for when 343 Industries will be able to patch a proper fix for the Big Team Battle bug that has been happening. However, there are a few ways that you can try to fix it.
The best suggestion they have to prevent the problem from happening, if it has been happening to you for multiple rounds, is to leave the party and restart your Halo Infinite app. You need to make sure to close the entire application, especially if you are playing it on an Xbox console with the fast-resume future. After the game has shut down for several seconds, restart it, regroup your party, and try again. It’s a perfect solution and it can happen again, but it can provide you with a small amount of relief.
Another alternative is to make sure that you are playing this game mode yourself. Solo players have the slightest chance of it happening to them.
The support team formally addressed the Big Team Battle bug on December 17, 2021, and the issue continues until 2022. However, you can make sure to stay updated on the situation via the BTB forum post created by 343 Industries on their Halo Waypoint website.
