How to make Mora in Genshin Impact

Leveling up your characters and gear in Genshin Impact is easy when you’re early in the game. You may have so much Blackberry that you don’t think twice about updating anything.

Unfortunately, that mind-blowing balance from Mora doesn’t last forever. As you progress through the levels, the costs increase exponentially to upgrade your characters and gear, running into the millions in some cases.

You know that you need to keep up with the demands of the game, so you will need to earn some money.

Read on to learn how to grow Blackberry to keep up with your luxurious Teyvat lifestyle. Find out which options are renewable and which are only valid once, as well as which options work best early and late in the game.

How to make Mora in Genshin Impact?

One of the easiest ways to make more Mora in Genshin Impact is to play the game. Check out the list below to find out which activities are the most lucrative.

1. Complete daily commissions

Are you ending your daily commissions? Completing all four each day can yield around 20,000 Mora when you deliver them to Kathryn at the Adventurer’s Guild. You’re looking at a minimum of 3,925 per with a maximum of 5,950 per commission.

Missions are available every day. You can find them in your Adventurer’s Manual, quest diary, or just look at your map. Daily commissions are indicated by purple mission icons. You don’t automatically receive rewards for completing the last mission in the set, so remember to turn them in every day to collect your winnings.

2. Open ley line flowers

As you explore Teyvat, you will find evidence near Ley Line Blossoms. These Ley Lines are a great way to farm Blackberry early in the game, but they cost Resin to open them. Early gamers may not think of spending a bit of resin to open the lines, but this strategy doesn’t work as well late in the game as the material becomes scarce.

While you can get up to 20,000 Blackberry per Gold Ley lines, you may decide that the compensation is not worth it because Resin is harder to come by than Blackberry.

If you’re an early gamer, go ahead and open those Ley Lines as much as possible. Late players, however, may want to steer clear of this agricultural resource in favor of another option.

3. Cultivation and exchange of stamps

Did you know that you can exchange Sigils in the souvenir shop for Mora? Sellers will buy two Sigils at 1600 Mora for the pair, and you can do this in the two main cities in the game. Even better, sigils are one of those infinite resources, so you don’t have to worry about hoarding them for future use.

You can find Sigils in chests and boxes near the beaches of Teyvat. Opening crates and chests is probably something you’re already doing for Adventure Rank XP, so the added Sigil surplus is a boon to Mora hungry travelers.

Statues of the Seven will also grant you a few hundred Sigils each time you deliver Oculi, in addition to giving your character a permanent resistance boost.

4. Level up the rank of your adventure

One of the best ways to get Mora early in the game is to focus on leveling up her Adventure Rank (AR). The first ranks at AR 2-3 and again at AR 5 – 10 yield approximately 10,000 each time you reach a new rank. Blackberry rewards increase as you progress through your adventure rank, with a maximum of 25,000 Blackberry at ranks 21 to 25.

5. Complete investigations and kill bosses / elites.

Your Adventurer’s Handbook is a potential mine of Mora possibilities if you complete the Investigations section of the book. Some players bypass these Investigations entirely in favor of completing the main story and side missions, but that’s a mistake.

Blackberry rewards start at 20,000 for completing Chapter 1 and can go up to 105,000 Blackberry with each chapter you complete. This is another one of those Blackberry fonts that isn’t repeatable, but it’s a good font for new players looking for more money to use on upgrades.

Alternatively, kill monsters is one of those activities that you can do at the Mora farm. These repeatable bosses and elites are found in your Adventurer Handbook under the Enemies tab. Most players use these enemies to farm Ascension materials; however, they also drop a large amount of Blackberry.

Use the manual to navigate to the boss of your choice and defeat him to reap the rewards. In a few hours, they’ll respawn so you can rinse and repeat indefinitely, even for late gamers.

6. Trade Stardust for Mora

Every time you make a wish, you get a little Stardust as part of your reward. If you can’t find anything in the store to spend your Stardust, why not trade it for Mora? Trading Stardust for Blackberry is a reliable option for players who spend a lot of time fighting for Fates or aren’t shy about opening their real-world wallets.

From now on, you can exchange 10 Stardust for 10,000 Blackberry in the store, up to 30 times a month. After that, the trade will cost you an extra 5 Stardust to 15 Stardust for 10,000 Mora. This method of obtaining Blackberry is repeatable and a great option for Wish-focused players with an excess of Stardust.

7. Take part in expeditions

As you unlock new features in the game, eventually Kathryn from the Adventurer’s Guild will tell you about Expeditions. At first, assigning characters to these Expeditions may not be much. You can get a handful of resource material or kitchen supplies for the problem.

However, more locations open up over time, and eventually you’ll have options to send non-party characters to locations that generate a large chunk of Mora.

Talk to Kathryn to send your characters on Expeditions and remember to choose the 20 hour time slot to get the most money – 5,000 Blackberries. It takes a while to reap the rewards, but it’s not a bad way to make some passive income.

8. Kill enemies

No matter where you explore in Teyvat, chances are you will come across quite a few enemies who want to shorten your adventure. Normally, you would either eliminate enemy mobs that get in the way of your last mission objective or try to avoid them altogether. However, these enemy mobs are a great source of income; especially if you combine it with other agricultural activities in Mora.

Slimes and Hilichurls produce the least amount of Blackberry at around 15-30 per type. Eliminating Hilichurl Bosses gives you much more earning potential at 198 Mora per boss. It’s not a lot of money, but it’s a nice compensation for something you were going to do anyway.

9. Clear the chasm

A new challenge awaits you in Spiral Abyss once you reach AR 20. It’s a popular place to farm Primogems and Mora if you can beat all three levels on each of the eight floors. Once you reach Abyss level 9, you will be able to revisit a few levels for a little weekly Mora and Primogem farming.

Honorable mentions

  • Special events, maintenance and updates
  • Genshin Impact Codes

These honorable mentions are not necessarily a reliable way to grow Blackberry, but they can bring in a large sum when available. Maintenance and upgrade rewards are typically found in the in-game email. Please check back regularly so you don’t get lost, as rewards have an expiration date.

Redeem the Genshin Impact code is another way to get a big chunk of Mora without having to strain. However, unlike other F2P games, the Genshin Impact developers don’t release code as often. If you find a new code, head over to the official website and log in to redeem it.
