Strike in Raven and the null response of Activision-Blizzard

The group of Raven Software workers who went on strike a few weeks ago published a statement on the Twitter account “A Better ABK” channel where they report on the employment situation of Activision, Blizzard and King. According to the workers, the company has turned a deaf ear to their protests and requests because now that they have entered the third week of the strike, there has been no intention of communicating on the part of the company managers or representatives.

In this regard, organized workers demand from Activision-Blizzard that the employees laid off from Raven Software be reinstated in their jobs and then the status of the relationship with the company in employment terms is addressed, with the objective of offering them jobs full-time.

Likewise, the Raven Software workers pointed out that in addition to their requests in labor matters, they are thinking about the impact that this has for the study and they reaffirmed their commitment so that things go well, there are agreements and the work team can return to their Activities: “We have emphasized that our protests are carried out with the best interests of the studio and all the projects it works on in mind. Reducing the size of Raven’s quality control department, without the involvement of anyone within the department, is concerning to us and others throughout the company. In the interest of making positive change for Raven, we would like to reach out to leadership to discuss the current situation. “
