10 best Barbie games

Although Barbie games are often undercut and overlooked, there are some really cool entries like the Detective Barbie series.

Most people probably wouldn’t even think about the license Barbie video game. Although many different Barbie Games have been released for multiple consoles over the years, these titles are overlooked or ignored because they are made for kids and have many of the same quality issues as other licensed games.

But, one of the greatest strengths of the Barbie games is that each title has something unique to offer. Because of this creativity, some of these games are worth examining more closely, regardless of the age of the player.

Barbie as Rapunzel: A Creative Adventure

Based on the 2002 animated film Barbie as Rapunzel, Barbie as Rapunzel: A Creative Adventure is a PC game that takes place in a slightly different continuity than the original film. Rapunzel and Prince Stefan decide to organize a masked ball and invite everyone except the evil witch Gothel. To coincide with the movie, there were two Barbie as the princess and the beggar games, and both games take place after the events of the movie.
