Fans of Five Nights at Freddy’s They have had to wait a long time to find out more details about the franchise film, but in terms of games it has been different, because a few weeks ago they were able to enjoy a new installment, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach, which debuted exclusively for PlayStation and PC consoles in December 2021. The good news is that the title could offer more content through DLC.
Jason Topolski, creative director and co-founder of Steel Wool Studios (responsible for the game), and Ray McCaffrey, executive producer of the franchise within the studio, were in an interview with youtuber Dawko to talk about the project.

¿Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach will have DLC?
Something very interesting is that in the interview the developers were questioned about the possibility of the title receiving new content, since McCaffrey revealed that, although there is nothing to announce at the moment, there are already talks with Scott Cawthon, creator of the franchise, around DLC and that could involve Dreadbear, one of the most terrifying animatronics in the series.
Dreadbear curiously made his debut in a DLC, precisely Curse of Dreadbear, for Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted, a virtual reality title also developed by Steel Wool Studios and which debuted in 2019.
“It’s something we’re talking about right now. So we’re making some plans. There’s nothing concrete yet. But we have a lot of ideas that we’re collaborating on with Scott. [Cawthon]. Dreadbear in particular, there has been a very positive response. We would be foolish if we didn’t give people more than Security Breach. So yeah, we’re making plans right now, “McCaffrey commented in the conversation (via Comic Book).
In case you missed it: ¿Five Nights at Freddy’s will come to Fortnite?
While these statements may be hopeful for fans of Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security BreachIt is important to make it clear that this does not ensure that the title will receive DLC, as there is nothing official. On the other hand, in case it is confirmed later, development would take time and the DLC would take several months to debut, so fans will in any case have to be patient.
But there is good news for all fans of the franchise or players who plan to enjoy Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security BreachAs the developers confirmed that, in the meantime, the studio is focused on improving the game through patches and updates that, while not adding new content, will polish the base experience it offers.
