It’s official: Death Stranding: Director’s Cut will no longer be exclusive to PS5 | Levelup

Yesterday afternoon we told you that a leak indicated that Death Stranding: Director’s Cut It would no longer be exclusive to PlayStation 5. If that caught your attention, you will be happy to know that it is already a fact that it will arrive on PC.

What do we mean? It turns out that on the morning of January 4, 2022, the Steam page of Death Stranding: Director’s Cut. This is a clear sign that the new version of Hideo Kojima’s game will be available on PC.

In case that seems insufficient to you, you should know that, shortly after this page appeared, Kojima Productions decided to make the official announcement. On its Twitter profile, the study confirmed that Death Stranding: Director’s Cut It will debut simultaneously on Steam and the Epic Games Store sometime in spring 2022.

“We are happy to announce that Death Stranding: Director’s Cut will come to PC! It will launch simultaneously on Steam and the Epic Games Store in Spring 2022, ”the announcement from Kojima Productions noted.

Like the PC version of Death Stranding, the Director’s Cut It will be distributed on PC by 505 Games and not by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It is unknown if this company plans to offer a way to upgrade from the original to the improved version, as happened on PlayStation 5. We will stay tuned and inform you when we know more about it.
