‘Impractical Jokers’ Star Joe Gatto Separates From TruTV Series Over “Personal Issues”

Joe Gatto, one of the four stars of the truTV series Impractical pranksters, has announced that he will be leaving the comedy company after 10 years on television.

Gatto published the surprising news in Instagram, blaming “the challenges I’m facing” for the sudden move, promising fans that it will “create new ways to entertain them.”

“Sorry in advance for the longer and more serious note than usual below, just wanted to let everyone know that I will no longer be involved with Impractical Jokers,” he wrote. “Together with my friends, I have dedicated a decade of my life to building this franchise and could not be more proud of what has been accomplished. However, due to some problems in my personal life, I have to walk away. Bessy and I have decided to part ways amicably, so now I need to focus on being the best parent and co-parent to our two amazing children.

He added: “Outside of my family, my relationships with Murr, Q and Sal have been the most important in my life. I know they will continue to make the world laugh. And while the four of us are the ones everyone watches, this show is only possible thanks to the hard work of the talented team members working behind the scenes. I am very grateful to have worked with each and every one of them ”.

This is shocking news if you watch the show, as Joe has constantly brought up his marriage and has often refused to complete challenges that would embarrass his wife or children.

It’s unclear how Gatto’s announcement will affect the franchise, however the series stars struck a first deal with WarnerMedia earlier this year and renewed their flagship show for a tenth season.

The comedy group Tenderloins, which includes Gatto, James “Murr” Murray, Brian “Q” Quinn and Sal Vulcano, has been in the process of expansion and was slated to develop and produce original programming for TNT, TBS and truTV, as well as for HBO. Max.

Gatto’s friends and colleagues also released their own statement via Instagram, which you can see below.
