In the world of technology almost anything goes. There are ideas that seem a little crazy, but that at the right moment can mark a revolution. We’re not sure what we’re going to tell you next falls into that category, but it’s certainly interesting: a company wants to make a mouse that includes an SSD inside.

XPG announced the XPG Vault model gaming mouse. It is a mouse whose concept is to include a 1 TB SSD with a speed of 985 MB / s with a USB-C connection. The idea of the company is that you have a mouse that you can use for gaming anywhere and that also serves as an external SSD. The best of 2 worlds in one product.

Unfortunately, the XPG Vault is hardly a prototype so there are very few details about it. Thus, it is unknown what your sensor will be, what extra features it will have and if it will be possible to upgrade your SSD. It is also not clear if it will go on sale at some point or if it is one of those prototypes that appear and of which we never know more.

XPG will be present at CES 2022 and is expected to show the prototype there. That said, several companies are exiting the event as a precautionary measure in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, so maybe XPG will do the same.

What did you think of the XPG Vault? Are you interested in such a mouse? Tell us in the comments.
