VALORANT Director Leaves Game To Take On Another Project At Riot Games | Levelup

VALORANTRiot Games’ tactical shooter continues to receive updates and it looks like it will be for a long time to come. That said, things change and the evolution of the FPS will not be under the same head, as its director will leave the game to take another project within Riot Games.

In a statement, Riot Games reported that Joe Ziegler, director of VALORANT, will step down as director of the tactical shooter. This after spending the last 8 years of his life working on creating, developing and supporting the tactical shooter.

This is not to say that Ziegler is leaving Riot Games. In fact, he will continue to work at the company he joined in 2010, but now he will be working on “something new.” It is unknown what it is about, but it could be the Riot MMO or some Riot Forge project.

In the statement, Ziegler mentioned that it will not be “far” from VALORANT and that the team will continue working on this project.
