A TikTok imagines the reactions of Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) and Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) to Hawkeye’s post-credits scene musical number.
A fan on TikTok adds Kate and Yelena’s reactions to HawkeyePost-credits scene. The latest Marvel Cinematic Universe offering on Disney + ended its run last week on December 22, and a second season is still on the air. Inspired largely by the comics by Matt Fraction and David Aja, Hawkeye finally gave Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton his time to shine in a lead role. Although the series was so much about its young fan and eventual protégé, Kate Bishop, played by Hailee Steinfeld in her MCU debut.
Established one year after the events of Avengers Endgame, the show finds Clint trying to have a good time in New York City with his kids during the holiday season, which includes watching a Broadway musical inspired by Captain America. But Kate, accidentally donning her Ronin outfit, attracts the attention of the tracksuit mob and throws a wrench at those plans, leading them to meet Maya Lopez, aka Echo (Alaqua Cox). Clint and Kate eventually team up to take down Kate’s mother, Eleanor Bishop (Vera Farmiga), after learning that she is working with Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio). Hawkeye also featured the return of Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova, continuing her story of Black widowPost-credits scene.
Now, a TikTok fan is imagining Kate and Yelena’s reactions to HawkeyePost-credits scene. After the show ends with Clint and Kate arriving at the Barton Farm to spend Christmas Day with their family, a post-credits scene features an entire number of Rogers: The Musical which appeared partially in the first episode. The user’s TikTok nicquemarina imagine Kate and Yelena’s reactions to the performance as if they were in the audience. See the video via the link below:
The TikTok actually features two point impressions of Kate and Yelena of the same actress, as well as a realistic imagination of how the latter would react to the musical given that it features her late sister, Natasha Romanoff, whose selfless sacrifice in Final looms over Clint and Yelena’s encounter during the finale. TikTok also gives MCU fans what they want, as many were disappointed that there weren’t any characters in the audience during the post-credits scene or any other type of cameos aside from Marc Shaiman, who composed the musical.
Due to this lack of surprise reveals or teasing for the future, which is what MCU fans have come to expect from post-credits scenes, HawkeyeIt has proven to be quite divisive. Perhaps all he needed was a simple appearance of Kate and Yelena from the crowd. While Marvel chose not to include him, fans can enjoy his reactions as pictured on this TikTok.
