Clawbringer from Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands should be a fun class for God of War fans

While fans of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands are sure to be drawn to flashy classes like Spellshot, Clawbringer could appeal to God of War players.

Up to now, Tiny Tina’s Wonderland has revealed four of its six playable classes. The Stabbomancer is great for stealth gamers and those who enjoyed playing as Vault Hunters like Zer0, while the Brr-Zerker is a great choice for fans of melee play and those who like to build builds around the effect of Cryo status. The Spellshot is an excellent substitute for the Siren class, as the magical abilities available to the class set it apart from everything else that will be available in the spin-off.

The latest class that Gearbox has revealed for Tiny Tina’s Wonderland so far it’s the Clawbringer. While a class wielding a giant hammer may seem a bit tame compared to those that provide special powers like magic and invisibility, there are a few things that help it stand out. In fact, his unique abilities could prove particularly exciting for fans of a very different video game: God of War 2018.

Similarities Between Clawbringer’s Hammer and Kratos’ Leviathan Ax

Tiny Tina’s Wonderland‘Clawbringer presents a few distinct abilities for players to wield in their battles, and all of them should appeal to God of War fans. Perhaps the most obvious connection is the throwing hammer that players can use. Clearly intended to resemble Mjolnir in functionality, it is similar to the Leviathan Ax due to a shared source of inspiration.

God of WarThe throwable Leviathan Ax powered the gameplay of the 2018 title, and it is sure to be a defining feature next year. God of War Ragnarok too. The act of throwing and retrieving the blade quickly became an icon, as it was extremely satisfying to wield the enchanted weapon of the Ghost of Sparta. Those who couldn’t get enough of the Leviathan Ax should be delighted that the Clawbringer’s hammer can be thrown and returned to its user in the same way, something that makes the Clawbringer class perfect for fans of the beloved PlayStation exclusive.

God of WarRunic attacks are also similar to Clawbringer’s Cleansing Flames ability. There are several attacks in which Kratos smashes his weapon into the ground to deal damage in an area of effect, with piles of ice hurtling forward or around him. With purifying flames, Tiny Tina’s Wonderland Players hit the ground to create a massive blast of fire, with the AoE attack dealing massive incendiary damage to everything surrounding the player character’s signature hammer.

Perhaps the best thing about the Clawbringer is his baby dragon companion. While players have yet to see what it can do, it will likely function like FL4K’s pets in Borderlands 3, with players able to command you to attack enemies and revive them when they are downed. Assuming this is how the dragon companion works, it would end up working much the same as Atreus did in the original. God of War. With God of War If fans can access a thrown weapon and an AI-controlled ally that can help out in battle, the Clawbringer class should be a no-brainer.

While Tiny Tina’s Wonderland it’s a very different game from God of War, there will surely be a bit of overlap between the franchises. For those who will be playing looter shooter to kill time until Kratos’ next big adventure, creating a character with Clawbringer’s abilities should give them an experience that feels closer to what will be seen in the upcoming Santa Monica sequel.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderland launches March 25, 2022 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
