Nintendo shares the most downloaded games from the Japanese eShop in 2021 | Levelup

This year only has a couple of days left and, as expected, the most remarkable lists continue to be shared. One of them has just been shared by Nintendo and shows you the games that were most downloaded in the Japanese eShop.

Monster Hunter Rise became the Switch’s biggest hit in Japan

The Nintendo Switch store had a great year receiving different titles that became liked by users. It is because of this that your managers want you to know which ones were the most popular in Japan.

As you can imagine, this list is headed by Monster Hunter Rise, so at least in his first place he had no surprises. Still, we share the other games that managed to sneak into it.

  • 11. 51 Worldwide Games
  • 12. Mario Party Superstars
  • 13. Animal Crossing: New Horizons
  • 14. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
  • 15. Overcooked! 2

As you can see, Switch users in Japan are not that different from American fans and decided to use their time in 2021 to play some of the most important jewels of the console.

Now, we only have to wait to find out which will be the most successful titles next year, when releases as important as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, Bayonetta 3 Y Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
