It has been more than 2 decades since the rise of extreme sports to the mainstream and that time when skateboards and the experts on them were great figures. Those years were very well used by video games, especially by the franchise Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater who lived the glory and the fall. However, just when that past was thought to be more than buried, Vicarious Vision surprised with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 and since the results were good, the expectation is that the third delivery also receives the same treatment and this could be a possibility.

The return of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 is imminent?

After the successful debut of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, rumors arose that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 it would receive the same treatment as the 2 main installments, halfway between a remake and a remastering. Although there is nothing official yet, some fans think that there are hidden notices in publications of the franchise that anticipate it, such as the recent Christmas postcard that was published on the official Twitter site, which hides an Easter egg that has excited followers :

On the back, right at the base of the spectacular ad, you can read “12 <312", something that alone says nothing, but is also present in the Halloween postcard published last November. Hence, appealing to the mere speculation of the fans, it is thought that this "12" refers to Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, but that is “less than” 312, the “3” being the supposed clue that would indicate the arrival of the remastering of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3A game that also enjoyed success and that featured the franchise proposal on new generation consoles of the time such as the PlayStation 2 and the Nintendo GameCube.

As of yet, there is nothing official about a remastering of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3, but it would not be anything strange because the return of the franchise has been good. Likewise, we must not forget that this year Jess Margera, member of the group CKY, who participated in the soundtrack of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3, hinted that a new installment of the franchise is on the way.
