Despite its problems, Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most sold and played on Steam in 2021

A little over a year ago it was released on computers and consoles Cyberpunk 2077, the highly anticipated role-playing game from CD Projekt Red that is surrounded by great controversy due to its multiple crashes on PC and disastrous performance on consoles when it was released, something that has had various consequences such as that CD Projekt Red has had to pay 1.85 million euros to its investors for the fiasco of the launch of the game.

However, it seems that little by little the title of the Poles has been improving and taking flight on Steam, currently having “mostly positive” reviews from the community and being a success in sales and number of players according to Steam’s own data.

And it is that, in the Valve’s own “Best of 2021” rankings, Cyberpunk 2077 It appears as one of the best-selling titles of the year occupying a place in the Silver category and has also managed to obtain a place among the most played of the year on Steam, being in the highest category, Platinum, destined to titles that have had more than 200,000 simultaneous players sometime between January 1, 2021 and January 15 of this year.

The version of the game for PS5 and XSX / S will arrive in early 2022

After redirecting your course on PC (although there is still work to be done) CD Projekt Red’s next step is to release the version of Cyberpunk 2077 for PS5 and XSX / S, something that the Polish study assures that will do during the first quarter of 2022 while another part of its developer team is working on a major update for all versions of the game and another working group is in charge of developing its first expansion.
