Next, open the App Store, search for ‘HeyMelody’ and download the app (it has a light blue icon and was created by Shenzhen HeyTap Technology). Open the HeyMelody app after it downloads, tap on ‘Scan’ and tap on ‘OnePlus Buds Z2’. Thus, the headphones connect to an iPhone and sync with its free companion app.
From the HeyMelody app, iPhone users have access to a large number of controls for the OnePlus Buds Z2. They can see the remaining battery life, customize the headphone playback controls, choose a noise control mode (ANC or transparency), and run a headphone fit test.
