Spider-Man: No Way Home hit theaters last week and, to no one’s surprise, was a smash hit at the box office. Given this, it would not be surprising that Disney and Sony continue with their alliance to launch more feature films of the Marvel superhero. While the future of the franchise is still a mystery, some fans want Miles Morales to reach the big screen and there are even already actors who have expressed interest in the role.
Mexican actor Benny Emmanuel, who rose to fame thanks to his role as Beto Bautista in the youth series The CQ, He took to his social networks to affirm that he is waiting for Marvel to launch the casting for the role of Miles Morales. With these statements we can deduce that he plans to audition to win the role and participate in a hypothetical live-action film of the superhero.
I’m just waiting for Marvel to release the casting for Miles Morales’ Spiderman.

Benny Emmanuel has a short artistic career, but in recent years he has shown his talent and acting level in high-profile films such as Impossible things, Nameless and the controversial Chicuarotes.
Of course, the actor’s statements caused mixed reactions in the community. There were those who expressed their support, while others affirmed that he would not be the one to put himself in the shoes of Miles Morales, a character who, in the comics, is the son of a Puerto Rican woman and an African-American man.
We must remember that, at the time of writing, there is no reliable information to confirm that a film starring Miles Morales is in production. In addition, we must remember that Amy Pascal, Sony producer, assured a few weeks ago that they already plan more Spider-Man films that will feature the participation of Tom Holland.
