As promised, the new miniseries of Pokémon, Pokémon Evolutions, would come to an end before 2022 with an episode focused on Kanto. Well, the expected day arrived and the episode The discovery It is now available and closed this fantastic project with a flourish.

Today, December 23, debuted the last episode of the fabulous 2D animated miniseries of Pokémon Evolutions. As anticipated, it would be focused on Mewtwo and, as in previous chapters, we will talk about the chapter below.

SPOILER: However, before continuing, you should know that the episode may include spoilers from the games that take place in Kanto, precisely Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! & Let’s Go, Eevee!.

Here you can see the previous chapters of Pokémon Evolutions:

Green goes in search of Mewtwo

Something interesting is that for The discovery it was decided to choose the reinventions of 2019 Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! & Let’s Go, Eevee! to present the Kanto chapter, instead of the original versions Pokémon Red, Blue & Green.

However, the events of the adventure are presented from another perspective, precisely that of Green, the protagonist of Pokémon Green. In the chapter it is seen how the trainers, after learning of the existence of a rare Pokémon, rush to the dangerous Cerulean Cave in search of it to beat their rivals and capture it earlier.

Thus, Green runs and dodges obstacles as quickly as possible to reach the place where the Genetic Pokémon, the number 150 of the Pokédex, Mewtwo, resides. The road is not easy, as he has to beat a large number of coaches and face even his rival, Trace.

Green failed to capture Mewtwo

In the end, Green manages to get ahead of Trace and proceeds to meet Mewtwo, but to his surprise Mewtwo had already been defeated and captured, precisely by Elaine, the female protagonist of the reinventions of Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! & Let’s Go, Eevee!.

Green wasn’t going to be satisfied without seeing Mewtwo in action and challenges Elaine to a battle. Green made a very good effort, but it was impossible to face the legendary Mewtwo, who took down his Mega Blastoise. After the defeat, Green presented the Mewtwonite X and Mewtwonite Y megastones to make Mewtwo mega-evolve, just like in the games.

You can’t miss the Johto chapter

If you loved this series or you had not had the opportunity to check it out, you will surely want to see all the episodes. We remind you that the episode premiered last week The show.

This chapter is Johto-themed (Pokémon Gold, Silver & Crystal, as well as its remakes) and recounts the fantastic legend of Lugia and Ho-Oh and the burning of the iconic towers of the region through the Kimono Girls show, a tradition of this region. The episode is highly recommended, because for the first time it is revealed how young women use their Pokémon in the theater to introduce visitors to this fantastic legend.

In case you missed it: Pokémon GO will celebrate the Kanto region with an official event that will arrive in Mexico for the first time.

According to the official story, the Bell Tower and the Brass Tower in Ecruteak City were created in Johto, which would be home to Ho-Oh and Lugia, respectively, and would serve as symbols to represent the friendship between humans and Pokémon. Unfortunately, one day there was a big storm and lightning struck the Brass Tower, burning it to ashes. After this event, Lugia went to live deep in Whirl Island to live, while Ho-Oh set out in search of a pure-hearted coach.

There were 3 Pokémon that lost their lives in these events. However, after the flames were suddenly extinguished thanks to Lugia, Ho-Oh returned to revive them, after which they transformed into the 3 legendary Beasts, Raikou, Entei and Suicune, related to the lightning, fire and downpour that characterized that fateful event.

Then we leave you with the episode in English and Latin Spanish.
