It is already becoming common for the next month’s PS Plus games to be leaked at the end of the month, before Sony even officially confirms the selection of free titles for subscribers of this service on PS5 and PS4. Today this situation has occurred again in the foro francs Deadlabs, where the user Billbill-Kun, who already leaked the selection of previous months, has revealed the supposed January 2022 PS Plus games.
Will these be the PS Plus games of January 2022?
According to this leak, next month’s PlayStation Plus games will be Persona 5 Strikers on its PS4 version, released in February of this year, DiRT 5 (for both PS4 and PS5), which will be released in November of last year in conjunction with the launch of the next generation consoles, and Deep Rock Galactic, which will be exclusive to PS5 and will be released directly on this subscription service.
It should be noted that Deep Rock Galactic has not yet confirmed its release date on PS5 after leaving the early access period on Xbox and PC, although its managers posted on Twitter an image forward a possible premiere in January 2022 on the Sony console, which would give this leak some additional veracity.
We remember that this information is not yet official. PlayStation usually announces PS Plus games a week before they hit the service, rather than on January 3, 2022 (Day on which December PS Plus games will no longer be available). Until the company officially confirms it, we cannot assume that these will be the free titles for subscribers on PS5 and PS4, no matter how successful the leaks from previous months have been.
For now we can continue to download the PS Plus games for December, whose selection includes the Challenger Edition from Godfall, Mortal Shell Y LEGO DC Super-Villains.
