Schlatt Announces Return of Twitch Streaming

After a hiatus of around two years, JSchlatt announces his return to the Twitch broadcast with a short animation confirming a date and time.

Many popular Twitch Streamers take short breaks to focus on their personal lives, and a streamer who recently took an extended break has confirmed his return. After two years of no connection, JSchlatt has confirmed that he will be returning to Twitch very soon.

JSchlatt recently confirmed in a YouTube video that he will return to the live stream on Twitch on December 18 at 8:00 PM EST. The announcement came during a brief teaser trailer for Schlatt’s Twitch channel, in which the content creator sleeps on his desk before his logo glows brightly in the sky, calling him to action. Schlatt’s cartoon character then adjusts before visiting a casino to take out some thugs and a lady wielding Pickle Rick with the help of his faithful cat companion.

The end of JSchlatt’s Twitch comeback trailer shows the cartoonish streamer sitting at his desk still in his suit before visiting Twitch and clicking the Go Live button. The short clip is just over a minute long and is reminiscent of other streamer animations, such as Pokimane’s Twitch intro and Dr. Disrespect’s YouTube intro. The videos show Twitch and YouTube viewers who are the streamers they are watching, fundamentally.

The YouTube video in which Schlatt included his return to Twitch announcement was titled “I’m Going Off YouTube,” suggesting that Schlatt will focus primarily on live streaming in the future. Considering that Schlatt moved to YouTube after his departure from Twitch about two years ago, this may reflect experimenting with different content on a different platform. JSchlatt teased returning to Twitch multiple times throughout 2021, so his return isn’t a surprise to his fans, but his departure from YouTube may distress fans of his content there.

During his recent YouTube video, Schlatt explained that the channel was created for another place to save his Twitch highlights. He said that at the time, he felt like he couldn’t do much more than play. Minecraft because only a few games sparked interest on Twitch at the time. According to Schlatt, he would stop seeing thousands of views on Twitch if he broadcast something else at that point, so he forgot to do what he wanted in favor of doing what his audience wanted.

Schlatt is primarily known for transmitting Minecraft content on Twitch and in his recent YouTube video, he confirmed that he felt typecast in making certain content before his two-year hiatus. Since his Twitch hiatus began, JSchlatt dabbled in various types of YouTube content, such as other animations, reactions, tier lists, and vlogs. JSchlatt’s Twitch The channel still has around 1.3 million followers who are anticipating its next comeback, while its YouTube channel maintains a stronger following of 3.04 million subscribers.
