Without a doubt, receiving a console or a video game at Christmas is one of the most beautiful feelings that any gamer can experience in his life. Unfortunately, many children are not so lucky to get such a special gift and will, in fact, spend this time of year in a hospital. Luckily, there are people with huge hearts who are willing to look out for others.

That is precisely the case of Ethan Anderson and his family, who decided to donate dozens of video game consoles to a children’s hospital. All this after earning a large amount of income from buying GameStop shares.

We must remember that, at the beginning of this year, Reddit users manipulated the market and managed to skyrocket the shares of GameStop. This with the goal of frustrating a fund that was betting on the financial failure of the company.

This curious phenomenon caught the attention of locals and strangers, and even Netflix has already expressed its interest in making a movie about it. However, the most interesting thing about this case is that many people took advantage of the situation to earn money, as happened with a church and a boy as young as 8 years old.

Ethan Anderson and his family donate a lot of Nintendo Switch and video games

The Anderson family was able to take advantage of the GameStop case to obtain large sums of money. Fortunately, its members brought out their altruistic spirit and decided to make a costly investment that will undoubtedly make dozens of children in a children’s hospital happy.

Ethan Anderson and his wife Jennifer Zhou made a donation to Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital on behalf of themselves and their 2-year-old son. Specifically, they gave away 25 Nintendo Switch consoles, 10 additional controllers, 5 Amazon Fire Tablets and 110 games. It is important to note that these items were purchased from GameStop.

“My hope would be that [los niños] They will find some relief, some peace and some excitement and I hope they get a little message that good things can sometimes happen, ”said Ehan Anderson.

Finally, the family commented that they contacted child life specialists at the hospital to find out which games and teams would best serve younger patients.

But tell us, what do you think of this noble gesture? Let us read you in the comments.
