After weeks of rumors and leaks, Warner Bros. finally confirmed the existence of MultiVersus, a platform fighting game that bears many similarities to Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. franchise. Of course, fans already want to know who will be the characters that will be on the initial roster and which will be the ones that will arrive as DLC. Luckily, it seems like the possibilities are endless.

Player First Games, the studio responsible for the project, held a question and answer session on its Discord channel to address fan concerns. Naturally, many of the questions were about the fighters that will be in the game.

MultiVersus roster has a lot of potential

In theory, this fighting video game would only have characters with intellectual properties that belong to Warner Bros. If that in itself opens up a wide range of possibilities, it seems that fans can also expect renowned fighters from other companies.

During the question and answer session, a fan questioned about the possibility of seeing non-Warner Bros. characters, to which a developer responded that it is feasible. “Yes, everything is possible. There’s a reason we don’t call the game WB Brawlers. “

Additionally, another fan asked if there are any rules they follow when accepting or rejecting characters for the game. The developer assured that they currently have high-level goals for the general roster, but that any character is possible.

This seems to indicate that the study wants to include some well-known faces in MultiVersus, although at this moment it is impossible to know who it is. Luckily, the developer stated that they will present new information about the project in about 2 weeks. Hopefully, we will soon learn the identity of a new fighter.

But tell us, which character would you like to see in the game? Let us read you in the comments.

MultiVersus It will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC sometime in 2022. You will find more information on this fighting title by visiting this page.
