While exploring the Isle of Skye in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, players will encounter a brewer near Dunvegan Village who has lost his grades. These missing notes can be found around the house near Brewer, and provide details on the ingredients that are used to make the “Drink of the Picts.” Those ingredients are two barley, a wheat, and a firefly, and this guide contains details on where exactly Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players can find them all.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Barley, Wheat, and Firefly Locations
Fans looking for the barley needed for the Drink of the Picts should begin their searches in the house that contains the aforementioned note. There are three sacks pushed against the outer wall of this house, and interacting with them will award a barley. In particular, the use of Odin’s sight in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla it will highlight these sacks, making them quite easy to locate.
Players must now head west to enter a small field and jump over the stone wall that forms its western boundary. Right on the other side of that stone wall, fans will see a wooden alcove that has a sloping ceiling, and within it are sacks containing a second barley. Again, these sacks can be revealed using Odin’s Sight, and AC Valhalla Players struggling to find them should feel free to seek help in that skill.
With the two baits obtained, fans must jump back over the stone wall to re-enter the field and then meditate until nightfall. After finishing this meditation, fans must use Odin’s Sight to reveal the Wheat that can be harvested for this Mystery in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which happens to be the one closest to the box with the lit candle. Players will also see some fireflies flying across the field, and they will have all the ingredients they need once they catch one.
At this point, players must return to the Brewer to deliver the ingredients and finally complete the Mystery of the Picts’ Drink. Once done, fans will be able to continue exploring.
