Pokémon Shiny Diamond and Shimmering Pearl are top sellers in Japan for the fourth week

Have passed four weeks since the international launch of Pokémon Shiny Diamond / Shimmering Pearl and in all of them it has been the best-selling physical game in the Japanese market. This is confirmed by the sales figures of software Y hardware games in Japan from December 6 to 12 published today by Famitsu, a list in which we can see that this installment of the Pokémon saga has added more than 130,000 new copies sold, already exceeding 2 million units only in the Asian country.

The ranking, in which there are only Nintendo Switch games, continues with almost 54,000 new copies of Mario Party Superstars y Big Brain Academy: Battle of Wits, which has sold more than 33,000 new units in Japan in its second week on sale. The OLED model of the Nintendo Switch is the hardware best seller of the week

As for consoles, the family Nintendo Switch It has once again been the most sold of the week with a total of 192,335 new units, being the OLED model the one that has had the most success, contributing 90,076 consoles to that total. The second most sold has been PS5 with 1470 units, followed by Xbox Series X/S with 805 consoles sold, Nintendo 2DS with 391 units and PS4 with 103 units.
