One of the most important moments in The Game Awards 2021 was the reveal of the trailer with gameplay of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, sequel to the award-winning Ninja Theory. What we saw in the video was impressive and when Geoff Keighley introduced it, he pointed out that it was the game running in real time, something that raised doubts, but has already been confirmed by a member of the development team.
Do not insist, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II runs in real time
Yes, we know that for years one of the complaints of the players is that in the events trailers or advances are shown that do not necessarily correspond to the final product and what happened with Cyberpunk 2077 It was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Precisely, as a result of this, some studies have chosen to show their games when they have a good progress in their development process as part of an act of transparency with the fans. In the case of Ninja Theory, this is what happened to Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II and through a publication on his Twitter account, David García, audio director, confirmed that what is seen is the game running in real time.

Ninja Theory is taking advantage of Microsoft technologies
According to David García, the trailer for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II audio shows what Ninja Theory is doing with Microsoft’s Project Acoustics technology, created to deliver immersive 3D experiences. At the same time, the creative confirmed that the video is a part of the game, played by a member of the development team, operating in the engine in which it is being created and running in real time, so it is not a well-worked cinematic for the occasion.
As of yet, the release date of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II but it is expected that next year there will be news as it is one of the most important projects for Xbox.
