Disney Villainous: Bigger and Badder, a standalone title in the board game series, will include two playable characters from movies released by the Disney Pixar animation studio for the first time in the franchise.

Disney Villainous: Bigger and Badder is the next title in the Ravensburger series of board games designed for 2 to 3 players, with a recommended age of 10 years and up, and with games of varying duration ranging from 40 to the 60 minutes.

Syndrome, the villain of the first installment of The Incredibles, a film about a family of superheroes that lives in secret, seeks to become a superser himself and will do everything possible to achieve his goal.

As Syndrome, players will lead their army of minions and use their advanced technology to carry out their plans, while dominating the Par family and Frozono. To win as Syndrome, players will have to fully upgrade the Omnidroid, successfully defeat it, and eliminate all the heroes from their kingdom.

Bigger and Badder, Pixar characters finally make their debut in the Disney Villainous series with their latest independent expansion.

Another playable Pixar character found in Bigger and Badder is Lotso the bear from Toy Story 3, a movie in which Andy’s beloved toys are found in a nursery.

Just like in the movie, Lotso seeks to maintain control over all the toys at Sunnyside Daycare. Players will have to reduce the strength of four heroes, which is a new mechanic added in Bigger and Badder, before placing those heroes in the caterpillar room, which is full of small children ready to destroy some toys.

The third playable character included in Bigger and Badder is madam me, a villain from one of Disney’s oldest and darkest animated films: Lovely Merlin.

As Merlin’s rival, who in the film is on a mission to help young Arthur fulfill his destiny of becoming king, Madam Mim will have to win a wizarding duel against him to be victorious. Using his various transformations, he must defeat the famous wizard before anyone meets his victory conditions.

In the original game, which can be combined with any of the standalone expansions, players compete against each other as various villains from across the studio’s history.

Each player will have a different victory condition depending on their character, with opportunities to intervene in their opponent’s plans by playing destiny cards on their boards.

Players have their own kingdoms that they can travel through to perform different actions, with allies and heroes that can appear in different spaces on the board. Using their hand of cards, they can put the pieces in place to ensure victory before anyone else.

Disney Villainous: Bigger and Badder, like the original board game, has been created by Prospero Hall, a development studio that is also responsible for the design of the horror board game Horrified and the upcoming Jurassic World: The Legacy of Isla Nublar.

Ravensburger will publish Disney Villainous: Bigger and Badder, as the company has released the rest of the board games in the series, as well as the spinoff title Marvel Villainous: Infinite Power, which includes a list of Marvel enemies, and several games of modern classics such as Puerto Rico and The Castles of Burgundy.

Disney Villainous: Bigger and Badder It will go on sale in March 2022, with a sale price yet to be confirmed.
