New Samsung tablet with more screen, power and performance

Samsung has announced the launch of the Galaxy Tab A8 tablet, the latest device in its Tab A series. It is characterized by a lightweight design that accommodates a 10.5-inch screen with a slim bezel and the usual aspect ratio. from 16:10. The result is an 80% screen-to-body ratio, facilitating an immersive viewing experience. It integrates four speakers with Dolby Atmos.

It should also be noted that the CPU and GPU have been increased by 10% to achieve faster and smoother performance, without latencies. It offers several storage options: 32GB, 64GB, and — for the first time — 128GB. A microSD card can be added for up to 1TB. The Galaxy Tab A8 also has 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM and its 7,040 mAh battery, with fast charging of up to 15 W, allows optimal autonomy even in situations of intensive use.

The new model has increased its functionality, security and possibilities, especially for students and the educational sector.

The rear camera is 8 MP and the front camera is 5 MP with the new screen recording feature. Users can record clear, detailed videos of their tutorials or lectures, and even record themselves demonstrating with their own voices and screens. They can be recorded while taking notes, while highlighting key points or writing on the screen, to associate what they say with what is seen, which helps to focus better and understand the notes better.

It is backed by Samsung’s Knox security platform and its multi-layered protection. The facial recognition system ensures that owners are the only ones who can access their devices. The constant and real-time protection of the software main device minimizes external threats

The Galaxy Tab A8 will be available in three colors (Gray, Silver and the new Pink Gold) in Europe from the end of December. The company has not yet disclosed the sale price.
