The Game Awards 2021: all winners and special awards

The Game Awards 2021 features a slew of the industry’s best games in a variety of awards, and Jugo Mobile covers all the winners.

After weeks of anticipation and rumors, Premios The Game 2021 has finally arrived. The event hosted by Geoff Keighley has seen a massive surge in popularity over the years and has become a prime destination for big game previews and reveals. For those who cannot watch the live stream, or are simply interested in just a summary of the awards, below is a list of all the winners announced at The Game Awards 2021.

More than two dozen awards will be awarded throughout the event, with trailers and world premieres scattered throughout. Even before the show began, an award was presented, with Infinite Halo winning the Player’s Voice award this year, the only category in which it was eligible due to its extremely recent release date. The most coveted award, however, is Game of the Year, which went to The Last of Us Part II last year. Game of the Year 2021 has six nominees: Deathloop, Two required, Metroid Dread, Psychonauts 2, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and Resident Evil Village.

More than anything, though, The Game Awards is a celebration of games, both from last year and those yet to be released. Most of the big names will be in attendance, but other major awards highlight all corners of the industry, such as Best Indie Debut and Best eSports Coach. An important part of such a celebration is, of course, a plethora of new trailers and game footage. Keighley hinted that The Game Awards will feature over 40 games this year, and the excitement has been palpable with huge titles like Breath of the wildsequel to God of War: Ragnarok, and Starfield potentially have some screen time.
