Cobra Kai season 4 is putting the soul of the Valley to the ultimate test, and it’s all going down this December. A teaser trailer provided a glimpse of the action we can expect from Daniel LaRusso, Johnny Lawrence, and their karate students. Season 4 will also see old rivals team up to defeat John Kreese, Terry Silver, and the “merciless” students of Cobra Kai.
And the best news? This is not the end of karate kids stories as Cobra Kai season 5 is happening!
Cobra Kai is one of the best shows on Netflix and one of the most popular on streamers. It follows former Karate Kid rivals Johnny and Daniel nearly 30 years after the events of the first film. Now, they have all grown up with their own children, but their rivalry is rekindled when Johnny reopens the Cobra Kai dojo and begins teaching new next-generation karate students.
The season 3 finale of Cobra Kai ends with Daniel and Johnny putting aside their long-standing feud and teaming up to take on Johnny’s former mentor, the sadistic John Kreese (Martin Kove). They merge their once dueled dojos, Miyagi-do and Eagle Fang, to face Cobra Kai in the All Valley Karate Tournament.
If Daniel and Johnny’s students win, Kreese will be gone forever. But Kreese always has some dirty tricks up his sleeve; this time, he’s calling his old and even nastier friend Terry Silver.

The first trailer for Cobra Kai was released on May 27 and confirmed the return of Terry Silver. First, Silver reviews his constant philosophy: extreme situations call for extreme measures. “Now the real pain begins,” warns the teaser.
We look forward to seeing more at Netflix’s TUDUM event.
A second trailer, which came out on August 5, is about the epic fight that awaits Johnny, Daniel and their dojos combined. The cast members kick and bang and there’s a brief glimpse of new footage.

Netflix announced two new cast members for season 4 on Twitter. Dallas Dupree Young (Cousins for Life, Shameless) will play Kenny, a bullied new kid at school who turns to karate as a way to defend himself. And Oona O’Brien (Annie, School of Rock) is Devon, a potential new karate student who is relentlessly competitive, a quick learner, and equally short-tempered when provoked.
Recently, the cast members of Cobra Kai have heavy on on the possibility of Aisha’s character (who was not in season 3) returning for season 4. Cobra Kai co-creator Hayden Schlossberg did not confirm a return, but her words give hope: “What we will say it is, like you ”that I have seen in season three, characters that perhaps you thought were no longer part of the story, come back and play a role. [Kyler] as an example. And then people who want to see Aisha again, I think that’s how we would respond to that, without revealing anything. “
Cobra Kai Season 4 Set Photos
February 26 Cobra Kai The official Twitter account posted the first photo from the set of season 4, which didn’t reveal much. But hey, we’ll take what we can get. The picture shows the first episode, which is titled “Let’s Get Started.”
Some leaked photos from the set also appeared on Reddit, which appear to show Daniel and Johnny on an ice rink. Is Cobra Kai giving us all the mighty ducks?
Cobra Kai season 4 theories and spoilers
Season 3 ended with another all-out fight, this time pitting the Cobra Kai students against their former friends (now part of the Eagle Fang dojo) and members of Miyagi-do. And it took place at LaRusso’s house!
Johnny, then Daniel confronted John Kreese at the Cobra Kai dojo, threatening to do whatever it took to stop him. Kreese offered them a deal: He would leave town if they won the reinstated All Valley Tournament. The next day, Johnny and Daniel teamed up to begin training the students of their merged dojos.
Cobra Kai season 4 should focus heavily on the next competition in the All Valley Tournament.
As for other stories in Cobra Kai season 4, we’re looking forward to more love triangle drama from Samantha, Miguel, and Robby. Also, there could be a little more movement in Johnny’s romance with Miguel’s mom, Carmen. One thing that will not be part of the next episodes: the coronavirus. Co-creator Jon Hurwitz He clarified that the show takes place in 2018 and 2019, so it will not incorporate the pandemic.
Hurwitz He also recently took to Twitter to tease some emotional scenes in the next batch of episodes. Fans should prepare to laugh and cry.
Hurwitz and fellow creators Josh Heald and Hayden Schlossberg revealed even more trivia from season 4 in a Paley Front Row panel, hosted by Collider’s Perri Nemiroff.
Heald said: “We want to continue to provide the dopamine that generates that good feeling. We want to make sure that we are giving the chills, tears, laughter and fists. It’s the same recipe with different tastes and everything in between, but it’s even bigger so we’re very, very proud of what we’ve been making so far. I can’t wait for you to see what everyone is up to. “
On the red carpet at the MTV Movie and TV Awards, stars Ralph Macchio and William Zabka showed what fans can expect from season 4.
Macchio promised: “The stories get deeper, the characters get more complex, [and] the fight is more amazing. Turns to the left, when you think you are going to the right, will dazzle you. “
Zabka added: “Lots of flights, lots of excitement, drama, great 80s music and a couple of beers.”
Cobra Kai season 4 Terry Silver returns
At the end of the season 3 finale, Kreese made a phone call to someone: his old friend from Vietnam, Terry Silver (season 3 featured flashbacks of their time as prisoners of war). Terry is a wealthy company that financed Cobra Kai. He was the main villain in Karate Kid Part III, in which he finances “karate bad boy” Mike Barnes at the All Valley Tournament to get revenge on Daniel and Mr. Miyagi.
Silver’s return was confirmed in the first trailer for Cobra Kai season 4.
Terry is likely to re-partner with Kreese to test Johnny and Daniel’s precarious alliance. And Mike may also return for a cameo.
Terry’s return is a no-brainer. Cobra Kai has been incorporating aspects of the movies more and more. Season 3 featured appearances by the Karate Kid Part II characters, Kumiko and Chozen, as well as a major cameo from Ali (Daniel and Johnny’s love interest in the first film). Maybe season 5 will bring back Hilary Swank from The Next Karate Kid?
Is season 4 of Cobra Kai the last season?
Cobra Kai fans can rejoice, because Netflix has gone ahead and ordered Cobra Kai season 5.
Hurwitz previously said Collider, “There is still much more story to tell, in our minds. We just finished filming Season 4 and we have many more that we are excited to do in the future. Therefore, we cannot tell you exactly how many seasons we are going to have, but we know that we are going to enter each season with enthusiasm and confidence.
Eventually, we’ll talk to our friends at Sony and Netflix and say, “We think this is probably the time we should end,” and hopefully they’ll give us that time to do it. We’ll see.”
When it comes to what’s next for Netflix, alongside Cobra Kai season 4, this winter brings The Witcher temporada 2 and Your season 3. AND The Umbrella Academy temporada 3 is right behind them.
Later, Netflix viewers can wait Emily in Paris Season 2 and Ginny and Georgia season 2, which are both confirmed. Meanwhile, someone great is leaving Bridgerton season 2.
