This year was a very special one for Square Enix, as it celebrated the 25th anniversary of Tomb Raider. As part of the celebrations, there were several announcements related to video games, as well as merchandise, but with a few days before the end of the year, it has just been confirmed that there will be an attraction inspired by the adventures of Lara Croft.
Square Enix, rather than focusing on a single day, continues to celebrate 25 years of Tomb Raider, which met them last October. Well, apparently he was saving the reveal of a franchise attraction, which will offer an experience in which attendees can become explorers and treasure hunters.
The project will be in charge of Little Lion Entertainment, a company specialized in creating interactive experiences that teamed up with Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix to make this attraction of Tomb Raider.

What will the attraction of Tomb Raider?
The recreation promises to be faithful to the feats of Lara Croft and it is mentioned that it will also feature great settings, special effects and actors who will bring the characters of the franchise to life. A group of up to 8 members will embark on an adventure together with Lara in search of a powerful artifact that fell into the wrong hands.
Judging from the concept art of this experience (via Entertainment Weekly), the venue will be divided into 7 sections and each one will show a different environment, based on the various adventures of the young Croft. According to the first details of this attraction, attendees will be able to “escape a shipwreck, explore the jungles of Costa Rica, discover an ancient tomb, solve puzzles in the environment and fight a secret order.”
In case you missed it: an animated series of Tomb Raider is in development and will unify the history of the franchise.
The attraction will occupy a space of 30,000 square meters and will be located in Camden, London, England, precisely, in the Camden markets area, one of the main tourist destinations in London.
Unfortunately, no details were shared on the price of the tickets or the opening date or availability beyond the attraction opening its doors in April 2022.
