The controls that come with our consoles are good enough, but there’s no denying that they could be better. That is why a niche of “Pro” controllers has been born for different consoles that deliver something extra to those who want more. If you were looking for something like this for PlayStation 5, you will be happy to know that they are already released.

What happens is that Scuf, a company known for its expensive controls, announced the launch of its first line of controllers for PlayStation 5. These are controls that have extra features that make them attractive options for players who are not completely satisfied with them. DualSense and looking for controls with extra options and that open the door to customization.

Scuf’s first controller for PlayStation 5 will be the base Reflex model. It is a control with 4 customizable rear buttons that can be removed; a button to switch between configuration profiles in different games and the option to remap buttons without having to skip the game. This control will be offered in black, but will have interchangeable covers and sticks so you can customize it.

The other option is the Reflex Pro, which offers everything the same as the base model, but also has a “high performance” grip. This means that it is designed to be more comfortable and that you can use the control for hours without any discomfort.

It is worth mentioning that both the Reflex and the Reflex Pro have the adaptive triggers of the DualSense as well as the haptic vibration. This means that it will offer a tactile experience equal to that of the control that the console brings, but with some extra options.

Lastly, we have Reflex FPS, a dedicated controller for gamers who enjoy FPS. What makes it special is that all the motors responsible for the vibration were removed, as well as the adaptive triggers. The idea is to deliver a lighter control with faster triggers.
