Pokémon Shiny Diamond and Shimmering Pearl have already sold more than 6 million units

Pokémon Shiny Diamond / Shimmering Pearl they sold six million units worldwide during the week of its launch, according to the Japanese newspaper (va Nintendo Life). The remakes of the editions Pokmon fourth generation for Nintendo Switch were released on November 19.

Ni The Pokmon Company ni Nintendo han anunciado official figures sales at the moment, although reports from third-party companies have reported a sales success in all territories. The figure places these reviews of games released on the Nintendo DS 15 years ago on par with Pokémon Sword and Shield, which surpassed six million units in its opening week on November 15, 2019.

A success in Japan and Spain

The remakes of Sinnoh (the name of the region that is explored in these adventures) sold almost 1,400,000 copies in Japan in the week of its release only in physical format; in the following week they were the best-seller again, adding 350,000 units. In Spain I place 118,300 copies in physical format, a little below Sword and shield, which sold 123,500 units. Globally, the copies sold almost double those of the premiere of Pomon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! / Let’s Go, Eevee!.

The games have been well received at the sales level, but players have complained about visual and playable bugs since the premiere. ILCA, the Japanese development studio, has released several updates since then, one of them earlier this month that solved some errors that prevented progress on certain occasions.
