This afternoon, KRÜ Esports beat FURIA to stay alive in group B of the VALORANT Champions. Kun Agüero’s squad reaffirmed its reputation as Brazil’s nightmare, leaving the Rio team out of the competition.
The series began on Fracture, where KRÜ gained the upper hand during the pistol round with a quadruple kill of Klaus. The Brazilians, however, managed to turn the game around and the first half ended 6 – 6.
In the second half of the first game, the Panthers made the score 10 – 7 but 1, thanks to Keznit, KRÜ managed to close the gap to just one point. However, in the end QCK carried the weight of his team and gave him the victory with a 13 – 11.

The second game was played in Ascent by choice of the Brazilians. There they got an initial 4-round lead, but KRÜ reacted formidably to go 8-4 at the change of ends. Although the second half was closer, the Chilean-Argentine squad never lost control and ended up winning 13 – 8.
Haven was the defining map of the series. Once again, KRÜ took the lead in the pistol round. Although FURIA returned to respond in a good way and put things 5 - 4 in their favor, the Kun team pressed the accelerator and finished the first half 7 – 5. From that moment, Klaus returned to take center stage and led his team to victory.
